This is my self-published book, which was 10 years in the making. It uses my personal diaries to detail my journey to overcome alcohol addiction as well as depression.

The book, like myself, is not perfect, but my heart and soul has gone into it, in the hope it might just help someone else out there who needs to turn their life around.

The first part of the book details my spiraling down-wards, all the way to hitting rock-bottom, which led to the second part about how I did indeed turn my life around - a long and hard journey, but so worth it.

Daniela Affolter was born and raised in Switzerland. She immigrated to New Zealand in 1995 and lives Auckland with her dog "ollie" and her crazy cat "Luna"(tic).
