Description
Concours d'Elegance had a real meaning in the 1920s-60s, with the emphasis on 'elegance', not just on superb condition. And in France, the cars were inevitably accompanied by elegantly-dressed women (and occasionally men).
Beginning with a 1924 6CV Renault and closing with a Porsche 356 Speedster, here are 208 large pages of superb b&w photos (mostly full-page) of cars from Panhard, Bugatti, Simca, Chrysler, Cadillac, Gregoire, Citroen, Talbot, Delahaye, Austin, Rolls-Royce, Salmson and many others- almost all of them with coachbuilt bodywork, and in lovely settings. Published to Dalton Watson's high standards in 2011, this copy is As New.
I am thinning out my library of motoring and motorsport books, so please keep an eye out for my listings. Books that don't sell probably will stay on the shelves...
Please see my other listings. Happy to combine postage on multiple purchases.
