Description
The Black Raider
Kurt Weyher and Hans Jurgen Ehrlich
Translated from the German by Paul Dinnage.
The German ship Orion broke the British blockage and under a camouflage super-structure, sailed around the world to lay mines in New Zealand waters. On the way she chaged her appearance half a dozen times to represent Dutch, Russian, Greek and other neutral ships. This tells the dramatic story of the Orion's adventures, and includes details of the sinking of the British ship Turakina, until her final triumphant entry into Bordeaux.
An account of the 'Órion' mission by her captain.
