17 yr old Molly has been living in St Jean de Luz with her easygoing father and when he dies she goes to her strict Aunt Susan at Thorpe in England. Life is dreary with her Aunt and Molly is thoughtless and wayward. She gets into several scrapes but finds comfort in old Mrs Browne, a true Christian. Finally, after times of difficulty and sorrow, Molly finds true happiness.
Cover is stained, and there is browning, brown spots on some pages. One place in the book the pages have come apart a little, see photo.
