Lichens of New Zealand
By William Martin and John Child

A. H. & A. W. Reed, 1972, 1st edition, hardback with tan cloth covers with gilt text to spine, with dust jacket, colour and b&w photos and illustrations, 193 pages, indexed, glossary and bibliography.

Book is in very good condition, binding sound, corners sharp, no shelf wear evident, no inscriptions, clean but some discoloration to page edges. Dust jacket has minor scuffing around the edges, top and bottom of spine and at top and bottom of fold ins. Small 1.5 cm tear at top rear side near spine, faintest of sun fading to spine.

Unusual copy in that it has a printers fault, the bottom corner of pages 171/172 has been caught while the book was being bound and is tucked into the binding creating a large 'dog ear', see accompanying scan.
