Description
Back in the 1970's a young New Zealand lady, married, with children often cooked using her mother's recipes/cuttings and hand written recipes dating back to her Great Grandmother's day.Out on the table were "Penny-half Penny Scones;"Peaches and cream Cakes"; "War Cake";"Hot Cross Buns";puddings galore;biscuits;chocolate cakes that melted in your mouth;"Sunday Roasts';"Rawena Paraoa"(Maori Bread);etc etc.But it was a hassle--the various cuttings and exercise book were falling apart--so she said,"Enough of this-I'll put the best of these recipes into a book and add some amusing and interesting early NZ History as well".And here it is.Published in 1980--with 1200 copies selling out in a Sydney Book Chain. Now out of print. But a few remain --copies signed by the author.64 pages--and very, very tasty! And--sewn binding.Book printed and produced in NZ.
