Colonel Frank Rennie CBE, MC (9 August 1918 – 17 November 1992) was a career soldier in the New Zealand Army. In 1970 he retired after an impressive 34 year military career which took him to the Pacific, Italy, Japan, Britain, Malaya and Fiji. He was one of the few who held every rank between private and colonel, and is founder of the New Zealand Special Air Service (SAS).
