Description
Punch Magazine 18th Nov 1942 & 19th May 1943
Punch; or, The London Charivari was a British weekly magazine of humour and satire established in 1841 by Henry Mayhew and engraver Ebenezer Landells. Historically, it was most influential in the 1840s and 1850s, when it helped to coin the term "cartoon" in its modern sense as a humorous illustration. Published weekly until 2002.
These editions in good condition for age, with some rust around staples. See pictures.
I have many Punch Magazines from the 1940s and 1950s, most in good condition for age. Happy to combine postage for multiple purchases.
Please note: Courier prices are quoted by Trade Me and are advertised here in good faith. On several occasions recently when the courier was actually booked, the prices have differed slightly from those quoted, usually due to the buyer living far from Wellington. This is beyond my control. If you purchase this item you do so under the agreement that you will accept the price quoted by the courier company when the courier is ordered AFTER the trade is completed and this price may vary slightly from the price quoted here.
