A large volume (28.5 x 23cm approx.) bound in dark red cloth with elaborate gilt decoration to front cover. The spine is faded and the cloth is beginning to split along the edges. Internally, there is moderate foxing on the text pages (Which are printed on a softer paper that is prone to foxing), but the plate pages are in excellent condition. Despite the binding being less than immaculate, the images in this book are absolutely splendid.
