Description

This is a collection of over 50 documents including handwritten letters from 1926, official letters the Chief Electrical Engineer of Wellington, one F.R. Shepherd, information from the Hutt Valley Electric-Power board, and a wider range of pamphlets including the then modern connected telephone system, generator, wiring pricing sheets, specifications for the Pukeora Tuberculosis Sanatorium, and one brochure for the latest product in building supplies - Asbestos. It's a fascinating small archive of the technological developments of that era.

Some of the guideline booklets date from 1908.

They are all in excellent condition, a little rust on the odd paper clip, but I think they have been sealed in a box for decades.

Even if your interested in graphic design, there are some wonderful images within this lot.

Feel free to ask any questions and I'll do my best to answer.
