The fittings use E27 Common Edison screw type bulbs The round variety looks best but these days there are several energy saving options available in these bulbs too. Bulbs are not included but available everywhere. rated at 40watts per shade but if using LED bulbs or compact fluorescent bulbs the light output can be increased greatly as energy savers do not get as hot as ordinary bulbs.
