The Barrel 350 is a kit-set cabin designed and created by specialist craftsmen. It is 350 x 210 x 210 cm and is made of 42mm thick Thermowood.

At just under 7 square meters the Oval 360 should not need a local council/authority consent which are generally required for buildings over 10m2, however we encourage you to contact your local council/authority for confirmation.

Thermowood is a material produced by heat treating Spruce and Pine to temperatures in excess of 200 degrees centigrade. During the heat treatment, chemical and structural changes occur within the timber which alter and improve some of its basic characteristics. The resulting product is an altogether more durable and stable timber, an ideal cladding material for use in exposed areas such as external walls.

The cabin strapping is made from stainless steel (304 as standard but 316 can be ordered for coastal conditions).
