3 x items.

1st item:

Stahlwille Tool Chest. Keyword: " Bench Toolbox ". Includes 1 x Key.

It looks like is is dark blue, but there is also some green paint showing. So I don't know which is the original colour? I thought that they only came out in green, and so (maybe) someone re-painted it blue? But then again, 98% of it is blue, so (perhaps) blue is the original colour?

One Short Drawer Handle, LHS, 2nd one down, is missing the plasticized-Aluminium Stick-On Strip, so I have painted it with "Bright Zinc".

A couple of the aluminium Handles appear to have a bit of a twist, "on the piss". Not entirely level.

2 x Cracks - see Pic 4. (Due to size & weight).

DIMENSIONS: Width: 675mm. Depth (front to back): 450mm. Height: 515mm.

2nd item:

Stahlwille (Empty) Socket Set Case.

Repainted it with the Hammerite "Hammered Green" metallic paint, which is as close to the Stahlwille paint as you can get.

It has a dent in the bottom half, and 1 Catch is missing. It doesn't close as well as it ought to.

3rd item:

Ratchet. 1/2" inch Drive. Handle has a chip out of it. Black Plastic is stamped STAHLWILLE. Chrome shaft is stamped MADE IN GERMANY.

Stahlwille is Made in Germany. These German made tools are of the highest quality in the entire world. Also, the most expensive tools on the market. Airbus Aerospace specifies that ONLY Stahlwille tools may be used to repair their aircraft.

Aside: As a lad (of about 16yrs), I wrote away to Stahlwille (via A4 letter and international envelope) & they sent me back a Hardcover Catalogue that was about an inch thick. Unfortunately I no longer have it. But ever since then, I have tried to acquire Stahlwille tools, and now I have a small amount of Stahlwille.
