This auction is for one 2mm OR 4mm Field Broadcast Spray Nozzle. PLEASE STATE YOUR SIZE PREFERENCE WHEN YOU ORDER.

We have shown the "Reducer", "Hosetail" and "Bracket" in the auction image (to give you an idea of the overall setup), however these items are optional extras and not included in the $75.00 auction cost.

Field Broadcast Spray Nozzles are manufactured in New Plymouth, New Zealand.

They are typically used to spray areas not accessible with a boom sprayer, for spreading liquid fertilisers (eg. Nitrogen Express) and for wetting and dust suppression. NB: This nozzle is NOT recommended for spraying liquid lime.

Manufactured in brass, the large (4mm orifice) broadcast nozzle is an efficient and inexpensive device that will enable application of liquid fertiliser to pasture. To operate, it requires a PTO powered diaphragm pump capable of 30-40 PSI (207-276 kPa) and with sufficient throughput to feed the nozzle with 12 litres per minute plus retain strong circulation within the spray tank.

The Field Broadcast Spray Nozzle will achieve a swath width of 6-7 metres at a pressure of 30-40 PSI (207-276 kPa) and a throughput of around 12 litres per minute.

The Field Broadcast Spray Nozzle should be mounted at the back of the tractor so that it is situated 900 mm above ground level in the operational position. It should be positioned facing rearwards with the threaded part pointing towards the ground.

The smaller 2mm nozzle is suitable for a quad bike sprayer.

The Field Broadcast Spray Nozzle is available on it's own (for $75.00) or with a 10mm or 13mm hose tail, reducer and bracket (for an additional $20.00). Please contact me for details.
