When you look at Flowers of Sulphur under a microscope, the crystals resemble flowers, hence the name. Flowers of Sulphur, also known as Brimstone, has been known for centuries to be an effective antiseptic and anti-fungal and as an organic, natural insecticide that kills and repels fleas, ticks, mites and lice, while being no more toxic than table salt. It is suitable for use on humans, animals, vegetables, fruits, flowers and as a gardening additive in the soil. Flowers of Sulphur treats most skin complaints in pets and farm animals. Sulphur is effective in treating allergies and open wounds and quickens the healing process.

Flowers of Sulphur is a dusting powder and should be applied to dry surfaces, foliage or animals and can be added to poultry dust baths. Mix one part Flowers of Sulphur with one part Diatomaceous Earth and dust around poultry housing, in nests, along perches, in crevices and can be applied directly to the birds. Add generous amounts to their dust bath.

As an animal feed supplement, Sulphur can be sprinkled into feed once a week. In the garden, dust lightly over plant foliage and stems. On the skin, mix a small amount with a skin cream and apply sparingly.
