This cable compression gland accepts a cable range of 3mm to 6.5mm overall diameter.

A cable gland is designed to attach and secure the end of a cable to the equipment. A cable gland provides strain relief and seals cables passing through bulkheads, gland plates, cabinets and enclosures. Cable glands are mechanical cable entry devices made of non-metallic Polyamide nylon plastic.
