Beautiful white Wedding dress fabric that has been carefully stored for nearly 50 years!!

This timeless fabric, sufficient to create a unique wedding ensemble for a size 14 bride, was originally intended for a Princess style dress with a lace bodice and long sleeves, using the Guipure lace trim to edge a front inverted pleat in the skirt.

The fabric offered consists of heavy satin for the skirt, a Belgian lace for the bodice, and separate guipure lace trim comprising bunches of flowers as shown. Also a crystalline-like shiny sheer fabric for veil.

Fabric Measurements. Satin:110cm Width : 400cm Length (4m) Belgian Lace 87cm width: 130cm Length Guipure Lace trim. 15 motifs x20cm each joined for a total length of 2.95m Veil fabric: 110 cm Width : 2.40m Length

Because all the fabric has been rolled up on a cardboard roller for all these years the satin has some small creases but nothing an iron wont fix! Otherwise in excellent condition as it has been covered and stored carefully.

The fabric was purchased from the top Bridal shop in Christchurch at a cost of well over $1,000, but never used or even opened up until now..

Note: Some of the photos make the fabric look cream but it is actually pure white.

This is a great opportunity to create a unique wedding dress. It would not necessarily need to be in the style it was originally intended for, but with a little bit of flair and imagination you could design and make something original and stunning !

Due to the delicate nature of the fabric and lace, we prefer it to be picked up by the buyer . To post, we would have to fold the fabric, as it is currently rolled up on a long cardboard roll, so it might crease if folded.
