This 20” white iMac runs well and is still a really capable computer for its age.

Condition: It's in very good condition. It's been reformatted with OSX Snow Leopard and the iLife and iWorks apps and is ready to go. All the hardware passed the TechTool tests and the Disk Utility tests this week.

Provenance: Purchased new from our local Apple dealer (DTSL) around 2006.

Features: This iMac has an attractive white casing design and is still very responsive for its age. It packs a lot of features with lots of ports and great connectivity.

Accessories: This iMac comes with the wired Apple Pro Keyboard and Optical USB Mouse, and a non-Apple power cable (which works fine). I can’t find the little Apple Remote but they’re readily available on Trade Me. The original box has been lost.

Software: The highest version of OSX for this iMac is installed (10.6.8, Snow Leopard) along with the iLife and iWorks apps and is ready to go. I can’t find the original install/restore DVDs but they’re now obsolete anyway and the App Store now lets you download OSX and iLife and iWorks for free.

Freebies (with no guarantees!): 1) iPod Shuffle (1GB); 2) Mini-DVI to DVI Adapter (for running a 2nd screen); 3) Apple’s Wireless Keyboard and Mighty Mouse as well.

Things to point out:

1. There’s the expected minor scuffs & small scratches (and the keyboards could do with a better clean than what I gave them).
2. Please double-check specs and compatibility etc yourself as I’m no tech expert.
3. Other than the obvious ones, the photos are of the actual items.
4. Purchased new from DTSL in Palmerston North.
5. There’s no original box, Apple Remote, manual or Apple power cable (but the replacement works fine). The manual is available online (see above link).
6. COLLECTION – As there’s no box we would prefer if it could be collected.
