This listing is for a genuine 256Gb SSD out of a Apple MacBook Air/Pro. It is compatible with some MacBook Pro Retina. If your drive has failed or you just need drive then this is a great solution.

00cj asked a question about the controller on the drives which I did not understand but now I do. The drive photographed is a SSUBX controller which makes it a much faster Generation 4 drive with 4 lanes. That means the drive is capable of much faster performance than the Generation 3 drives which are two lane. If your Apple computer supports Generation 4 drives it will make a huge improvement to your drive speed over the Generation 3.

We have plenty of SSUBX Generation 4 drives so that is what we are sending out.

The drive has a green sticker which means we have tested the drive to make sure that it is not stuffed. It is compatible with MacBook Air from:

Mid 2013, Early 2014, Early 2015. 2017 too

and MacBook Pro from:

Late 2013, Mid 2014, Early 2015.
