This power adapter enables use of the current standard ATX Power Supply to power some 8088, 286, 386 & 486 IBM PC Compatible Personal Computers that require the original, 1981 design, standard PC 2x 6 Pin Power Plugs

AT Power uses the 6 Pin P8 and P9 White plugs as the power connectors where it connects to the AT socket of the motherboard

ATX Power uses the 20 Pin P1 plugs as the power connector where it connects to the ATX socket of the mainboard. It can either be 20 Pin or 24 Pin for newer computers. Some newer ATX PSU`s also have a 4 Pole P4 connector (12v) with the 20 Pin P1 Connector, Just let it loose or fold back, cable tie or apply some heat shrink to manage

When installing the 6 Pin P8 P9 power plugs, the black wires (ground) must next to each other. It's either "black to black" or smoke and a shower of sparks.

Includes Power Switch cables with Female spade terminals and insulation sleeve or boot. Cut & solder to the existing power switch if required
