Vintage auction includes Commodore 1520 Four Color Printer Plotter.

For the purposes of this auction the printer is listed as non-operational (faulty), but it does power on and attempt to complete its start-up test print.

There is a small metal ring in front of the print head which helps to align the pen tips (refer picture #7). This ring caught on the edge of the paper and bent on several occasions, requiring straightening to restore printing.

Therefore this mechanical glitch might be correctable and the printer usable for historical interest.

A set of pens are included and were supplying ink to draw its test print of four boxes. They are currently sealed in plastic bags but will need to be cleaned and used regularly to keep from drying up.

The console buttons work for Paper Feed, Color Change and Pen Change.

The printer is in good condition after 30 years. It would be ideal for someone who is a collector of Commodore history. Friends have described this printer as "really cute".

Original packaging is included and in reasonable condition but still tatty in places.

These devices are getting harder to find so to help protect its antiquity, it will be boxed and sent via tracked courier requiring signature.
