Good to Go Knits Patterns are designed to be user friendly, with a layout that is ‘easy on the eye’. I have extensive retail experience in yarn and pattern sales, and over the years have come across many patterns that I deem to be extremely difficult to read and/or follow. My aim is to try and ‘eliminate all doubt’ on that score.

‘Kiwi Traveler’ was born after I envisaged a stylish outer garment that needed to be easy to wear and travel with, whilst also exuding warmth without weight. I have come up with what I consider will be a great suitcase staple! Knitted in one piece, with simple cables interspersed between knit and purl (stripe effect) texturing, it is joined with one seam to finish.

'Kiwi Traveler' was designed using a top quality, New Zealand produced yarn, manufactured by Touch Yarns, which is comprised of Super Fine Kid Mohair/Merino Wool. It is a delight to wear!

For the knitter who has mastered simple cabling.

This is a One Size only (ADULT) Poncho, measuring 90cm (35") in length from the back neck when worn diagonally.

Materials Required:

7 mm knitting needles. Touch Yarns 12 ply Brushed Solid - available in 100 gram hanks, of which you will need 4. (The prototype used approximately 3.5 hanks)
