8 ply ( DK ) Naturally Coloured Pure Wool - 800gms

This Colour is called 'Peat ' it is a Natural wool ( undyed ) from our own Naturally Coloured Black Corriedale Sheep - best described as a VERY DARK CHOCOLATE.

This auction is for 4 hanks - each hank is 200gms - so this auction 800gms.

( More hanks of the same batch can be supplied if required 200gms/$15 each )

200gms = 475 yards or 434 meters.

HANDWASH.

800gms is enough yarn for an average/large Man size garment in PLAIN STOCKING STITCH. . If u do EXL sizes or heavy cable you may need more hanks.

The jacket has been knitted by one of our talented customers - it is knitted from this same yarn - its a great example of what can be done. The jacket is NOT for sale!

Great wearing yarn for all knitwear - beautiful, soft and light. Lovely for woven blankets and rugs.

We recommend 4mm needles for knitters with average tension and 4.5 mm for tight knitters.
