Precision Termination - One of the key things that we consider is whether a charger can terminate at 4.2v or below. Having tested this charger many times, we can confirm that this charger terminates at 4.2v while on-load. Our multimeter shows 4.18/4.19 while it is taken off-load.

Many chargers claim that they terminate at 4.2v, but this is simply not true. If a charger fail to cease charging at 4.2, there is a high risk that it can over charge and in some cases, lead to safety hazards.

Crisp LCD Display - The VC2 has one of the finest display. On it you can see charging current, live on-load voltage and the amount of power charged in that particular channel.

Monitor the amount of charge your battery can take closely. A cell that reduces capacity is a sign that it is not in a healthy state. Other chargers simply cannot give you this information.

Independent Channels - We can confirm that both channels are independent. Most chargers reduce charge rate when more than 1 channel is used. The VC2 on the other hand can charge both channels at 0.5A irrespective of whether 1 or both channels are in use.
