Lens is in good overall condition. Has some dust inside the lens but almost impossible to avoid in these long range zoom lenses. It does not show up in photos and has absolutely no effect on images, still works perfectly!

I experimented with many everyday lenses like the 18-55mm, 17-85mm IS USM, 17-55mm etc. but found this offered the best value for money with its impressive image quality and very practical zoom range. Would definitely be my lens of choice if I had not upgraded to a much more expensive L series lens.

It has a nice wide angle down at 18mm for landscape photography, home photography, group shots, views while still having a huge range of 135mm for situations like wildlife, actions, sports photography. Has practically everything you need to suit whatever situation you find yourself in.

It's equipped with Canon's Image Stabilizer (IS) which helps to reduce camera shake in low light situations.
