Redhead continuous lights are traditionally used in video film and TV lighting. Digital cameras had made them an excellent studio lighting choice for still photography as well.

The new design includes triple heat exchange rings on the barn door mount, which prevents them from getting too hot to touch and operate as well as improving safety around the lights. The rings also allow the "cool down" time of the light to be shortened, making it quicker to pack up after the job.

Video lights run HOT. Always be aware of the inherent fire and injury risk from hot bulbs/casings & keep a fire extinguisher around Never install bulbs w/ your fingers touching glass as it can cause a bulb explosion at a later stage Eliminate tripping hazards, tape down wires. An upset video light can set fire to carpets etc

Tips for extending the life of your bulbs -dimmer switch on low when turning on light initially -avoid humidity, vibrations / jolting & electrical fluctuations

Due to the nature of video bulbs warranty does not cover these items or any subsequent damage caused by bulbs blowing.
