Over time the factory seals degrade, and turn into a crumbly/sticky mess. Light leaks and ruined film result. Check the door grooves and hinge seals for wear,loss, and stickiness.Most lightseal problems will occur here. Many of the older cameras sold on this site will have this problem.

The Answer : Precision-cut ,high quality, open-cell foam strip,correct for height,width,and type,for OEM replacement. No glueing required -all materials are adhesive backed. To allow for manufacturing variation,seals are supplied slightly over-length - just trim to length.
