These were part of a broader range of 35mm cameras, including the higher-spec 'Super Dignette' and 'Super Dignette Electric' offering rangefinders and light meters, which the basic Dignette lacks. The Dignette F is a version with a built-in flash reflector. Dignette cameras were also marketed as Ilford Sportsman.
