Listing Detail Tabs

The C.P. Goerz Optical Company was founded in 1886 in Berlin, Germany by Carl Paul Goerz.

Before its 1926 merger into Zeiss Ikon, the Berlin company C. P. Goerz sold several folding-bed plate cameras under the name Tenax.

This camera was produced between c1912-1926 and belonged to Hamilton Optometrist Eric Skeates. He brought it with him from England to New Zealand after training in Optometry in the UK. It was later handed down to my husband.

It comes with handwritten instructions from Eric Skeates. Still in its original leather case. It has been stored in a dark cupboard for many years. Please click here to ask a question
