You're looking at my classic NAD 7225PE stereo amplifier. An absolute legendary amplifier representing a leap forward in NAD's design methods. Their amps have always been highly musical... and highly sought after! A worthy successor to the mighty NAD 3020, an amp which Absolute Sound name one of "The Ten Most Significant Amplifiers of All Time"...

NAD's goal in designing the Model 7225PE was to enhance the 3020 design by adding a high end radio tuner. The 7225's "Power Envelope" circuit utilises high current caps, which store energy for bursts of intense music. This means that the 7225 maintains its composure during vigorous musical sections, never running out of steam like other amps do. Although it's rated at a seemingly modest 25W per channel (into 8 ohms) when used well, this is plenty of power to fill a good sized room... and the impressively low THD of only 0.03% means all you hear is the uncoloured music, as the artist intended.

The front panel controls are minimal and straightforward, including Balance, Bass and Treble controls, with Loudness and a headphone socket... a God-send for late night listening. Input selectors, radio controls and a volume dial finish things off. It's all glorious analogue here... no remote!

The bright red numerical display is clear and shows the radio freq. It has the ability to power TWO pairs of speakers, perfect for multi-room setups.

Its dedicated phono input will bring out the best from your turntable and vinyl, which many audiophiles prefer for 'real' music.

I've included the printed manual & brand new NFC Bluetooth receiver for maximum convenience, this amp is now ready to stream music from any of your Bluetooth devices.
