This is an awesome projector and it comes in at a bright 3200 Lumens which if you are planning to watch movies at night it is way way bright. The Epson blurb on these shows lots of photos of the projector being used during the day

For a compact projector there are some stunning features:

3LCD The main feature that sets this apart from cheaper projectors is that it is 3 x LCD rather than DLP. DLP uses a spinning disk to generate the colours and for some people when you look at the screen you can sometimes see a rainbow affect in bright areas. It seems to be visible to some people

LCD it is not unusual to perceive a more stable video image on an LCD projector when viewed side by side with a DLP counterpart in a similar price and performance class. The LCD's video image can look cleaner and more free of noise.

LONG LAMP LIFE: This one has very low lamp hours at 570. To give you an idea the documentation says battery life is 5000 hours in Normal and 10000 hours in Eco. That means much lower running costs especially when the replacement genuine lamp is on the Epson website at $158.99 inc GST plus delivery so not bad at all!

CONNECTIVITY: There are oodles of ports, go to town!

There is a price for these on the Epson New Zealand website of $1499 which makes my one an excellent choice
