Condition: The item is listed as 100% brand-new and high-quality.
Important Note for Installation!!! Most new PS2 laser lenses (including the SPU-3170) are shipped with an anti-static solder point (a small "blob" of solder) to protect the laser from static electricity during transit. You must desolder this point before the laser will function.
Warning: Please ensure your console currently uses an SPU-3170. PS2 Slims also used the PVR-802W laser, and these two models are generally not interchangeable without modifying the console's EEPROM.
