There are more than 30 wrestlers to choose from such as The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Undertaker, and the late Owen Hart. Every grappler can perform the same basic moves, but they can also perform signature attacks. Different button combinations are used to perform every move, and they range in difficulty depending on how complex the action is. There are several play modes available, with a focus on multiplayer battles. While there are 15 single-player modes, there are 21 multiplayer options that allow up to four people at once in the ring. One of the best features of the game is The Create-a-Player, which is about as deep and intuitive as they come.
