Hemp seed oil contains antioxidants, a number of minerals including calcium, magnesium, sulfur, potassium, iron, zinc, and phosphorus. Also contains all 20 known amino acids, including the nine essential amino acids, as well as Vitamins A, B1, B2, B3, B6, C, D, and E. Hemp seed oil is generally made up of 45-50% Omega 6 and 15-17% Omega 3 fatty acids.

Because of all of these goodies Hemp oil is really useful for those with inflamed, dry or aging skin. It helps to moisturise and nourish the skin from the outside in.

I use this oil in a number of the skin care products that I make. One of which is recommended by a Midwife in Stratford and is now carried by the pharmacy down there.
