Voltaren Emulgel is used to treat pain and inflammation in joints, ligaments, muscles, nerves, tendons, neck and back. The gel contains Diclofenac Diethylammonium 11.6mg/g (equiv. Diclofenac Sodium 1%).

DOSAGE

• 12 years-Adult: rub gently into affected area(s) three to four times daily as required. If symptoms persist after 2 weeks, seek medical advice.

BEFORE USING VOLTAREN EMULGEL SEEK MEDICAL ADVICE:

• if you suffer from asthma
• if you have stomach, kidney or bowel problems
• if you are taking other medicines containing Ibuprofen, Aspirin or other anti-inflammatory medicines
• if you are taking other medicines regularly, especially warfarin

DO NOT USE VOLTAREN EMULGEL:

• if you are allergic to Ibuprofen, Aspirin or other anti-inflammatory medicines
• for children under 12 years of age, except on medical advice
• during pregnancy or breastfeeding, except on medical advice
• for more than 2 weeks at a time, except on medical advice

POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS Seek medical advice if any of the following occurs & is concerning to you:

• mildly red skin
• dermatitis
• itching
• tingling Tell your doctor immediately if any of the following occurs:
• breathing difficulties
• rash
• gastro-intestinal problems

WARNINGS

• Keep out of reach of children
• For external use only
• Apply with gentle massage only, avoiding contact with eyes, lips, mucous membranes, and inflamed or broken skin
• Discontinue if rash develops
• Hands should be washed immediately after use
• Not for use with occlusive dressings
• Avoid exposing the treated area to excessive amounts of sunlight
