Registration on Trade Me is free. There is a simple registration form which we require you to fill in before you can start trading.
We will send you a confirmation email to confirm your email address as part of the registration process. Click the link in the email we send you to activate your membership.
If you haven't received a confirmation email you need to check your junk mail settings
aren't blocking our emails. Our emails come from email@example.com and @email.trademe.co.nz, you need to add these to your address book. Once you have done this you can re-send your confirmation email by logging in to the site and clicking the 'Resend my confirmation email' button.
Buying and selling on Trade Me is restricted to members located in New Zealand and Australia, except where a member has been specifically accepted as an ‘international’ seller by Trade Me
. Sellers based in Australia must have a NZ bank account, and may not sell vehicles or property located in Australia.
