This auction is for a set of ‘Roman’ era inspired china / porcelain bathroom fittings, comprising a soap dish and a longer extremely elegant shelf, by ‘Armitage’, a long established (1817) manufacturer of quality porcelain bathroom and kitchen utility equipment.

Markings on obverse of shelf include: Heatherley Chessington, England and Armitage, England
