This beautiful 5 piece double bedroom suite made of NZ kauri was commissioned by the owner and made by a craftsman cabinet maker in 1987. All pieces are in good condition and all visible surfaces have recently been lightly sanded and oiled to maintain the finish, unique characteristics and appearance of the kauri timber. The cabinet makers Certificate mentions the 1160 hours taken to manufacture this solid kauri suite and some of the special features. The 10 drawer unit incorporates a cabinet with a fixed wooden rail for coat hangers. The dresser unit includes a set of smaller drawers with compartments for jewellery and trinkets.
