Description
Mao Xie Oolong Garden: Gan De Village, Anxi County, Fujian Province, China Cultivation: Pesticide-free Harvest: Autumn 2020 Taste: Thick and floral with notes of peaches and buttered greens Size: 85g
Mao Xie Hairy Crab Oolong is a wonderfully aromatic and floral tea from Anxi County of Fujian Province. It is named for the fine "hairs" on the backside of the leaves. Plucked in Spring, it is traditionally processed and lightly oxidized. The leaves are rolled and a mix of light and dark greens. They unfurl to a truly delicious cup with floral and notes of peaches and buttered greens. It is an oolong that can be served hot or iced/chilled. *For Tieguanyin lovers, Hairy Crab is a slightly thicker and sweeter version of this famous tea.
Brewing Advice: 2-3g, 90-95°C, infuse for 120 seconds (multiple infusions)
