This gorgeous polished wood dining suite is being sold only because of downsizing to a smaller house and just not having the space for it.

Beautiful character set - dark wood in a great condition. Also comes with three top quality tablecloths.

The table is 215cm x 110cm and has a centre-mounted pedestal so no one bumps into the table legs. It has been lovingly taken care of and is in immaculate condition. It is solid wood - a dark wood (sorry, not sure what type though) and polishes up beautifully.

The chairs are high-backed and comfortable, the frame being of the same wood and the seat and back being cushioned and upholstered in cream suede. All eight chairs fit comfortably around the table though we generally placed just six and had two in the room corners to pull in when needed. The upholstery at the back of one of the chairs is scratched (thanks to one of the cats) and another chair has a dark brown leather seat covering (for practical reasons - this was the chair that dirty workpants used to sit on).

The tablecloths were bought especially for the table. One is a beautiful Thai silk piece, another I believe is from Ikea, and the last one is a light summer piece.
