The sophisticated PIR detection system detects movement (similar to how a security light is triggered). It has a range of up to 8 metres at an angle of 110 degrees. It is fully waterproof. The unwanted guests just do not like the sound and learn to stay away.

3 X AA rechargeable batteries are included. The solar panel on top of the device keeps the unit charged. It has a built-in low battery detector and a USB cable for extra charging. Also included is a large spike for the bottom of the unit. This enables the user to put the repeller into the ground. It can also be mounted on a wall.
