Varying rock sizes for easy loading are sized from 200mm up to around 500mm. Larger sizes from about 500mm up that require mechanical means to move, or lots of hands, are available up to 1.2meters, and priced from $35 each per rock/Boulder depending on size.

Load it yourself, larger rocks would need digger, front end loader, or other mechanical means to load. Most rocks can be loaded by one person, and slightly bigger ones require 2-3 people.

If you do want to buy some of the bigger rocks I have a small front end loader that can be used to move some of medium sized ones however for the really big ones you’ll need a digger and large truck to load them onto.

Volcanic rock ideal for retaining walls, dry stone walling, garden features, stone fire pits, garden walls etc Easy access for trailers, and trucks. Recommend 4wd for towing otherwise you’re likely to get stuck in the paddock once you’ve loaded your trailer up.

Pickup Maungakaramea, about 25minutes south of Whangarei, 30 mins from ruakaka. Best times for collection are most Saturdays and Sundays, after 5pm on some weeknights, or by arrangement.
