Description

Myrciaria cauliflora Small to medium tree.Sweet fruit tasting of grape with a touch of sherbet.Fruit grows on the hard wood, and can be eaten raw or used for making wine or jam.

I found the original tree growing and fruiting out side in Whakatane. I know of another one growing out at Tarawera. My one is in an unheated poly house and is thriving. Mature trees can tolerate light frosts.

Can be grown in a pot or a sheltered north facing position. This auctionis for 4 seedlings in 4inch pots.

Includes fact sheet.

The first photo is of the tree and the third is of the fruit. will put up a pic shortly of the pots.
