EACH PIECE IS INDIVIDUALLY HANDCRAFTED BY KEITH AT MODENART NZ, SO NO 2 ARE EVER THE SAME.

Seed Pods are 65+-mm in diameter and 400 +-mm high on a 2.0m solid 8mm steel rod. Overall height is 2.4m, You can mix heights by varying how far the rod is put into the ground. These are much larger than my other reeds also made from Macrocarpa and will make a real statement in the garden.

They are solid and unbreakable, and will sway around gently in the breeze.

The seed pods are twice danish oiled to enhance the grain and colour. They will last forever with limited maintainence needed, just a light sand and oil on occassion if you dont what them to weather to a more natural colour, they require no watering & will never die!

Macrocarpa is a naturally durable timber which makes it a great organic alternative to treated timbers as there are no nasty chemicals.
