Jockey caps have bright flowers, each flowering for a day and another flower opening the next day providing a succession of colour. Flowers are red. They flower in mid summer and a large clump will flower for successive weeks.

It is easy to manage, perennial and will last for years.

They can be grown successfully in average to fertile soils, although they prefer places with good drainage and in a sunny position. They are perennial and leaves die down for winter.

You are bidding on a minimum of 30 seeds with growing instructions. Seeds are best germinated in spring, summer or autumn when soil is warm. Seeds will form bulbs that will flower after 2-3 years.

I am willing to combine with other seed purchases for delivery. I recommend delivery by courier and can send any number of packets of seeds at the advertised shipping cost. Otherwise, you can choose delivery by NZ Post at your risk and up to 4 packets of seeds can fit in one envelope. I will not replace seeds lost in post. I do not sent seeds with consignments of live plants.
