Arthropodium Bifurcatum. Also known as NZ Rock Lily. This variety has broader leaves which have a bluish hue and larger flower heads than the common Cirratum variety. Masses of white flowers in late spring to summer.

Tolerates very dry exposed and salty conditions, sun or shade. They are frost tender and need protecting from snails, but otherwise are tough and hardy. Ideal for growing under trees which protects them from frost.

200 seeds - which are very easy to germinate, taking approx 3 weeks in summer. These can actually be sown all year round. In winter place seedling tray under cover anywhere out of the rain and keep moist, they will take around 4 weeks to germinate.
