Corn Cockle Agrostemma githago
An attractive cottage garden flower, once found extensively in corn fields, but now extinct in the wild and is a protected species. This popular cultivated strain produces large 5cm or more across, soft Lilac-Pink blooms and flowers freely all summer. Plants grow 70100cm in height and 20cm in width- Sow in seed raising mix- seeds germinate in 7-14 days. Transplant to a full sun position and you will find these are very easy care easy to grow flowers.
