This jewellery box was made by me from recycled native timber.

The Totara and Rimu came out of a 100 year old villa.

It has a curved lid with a geometric design in the lid, two removable trays with different sized compartments in them, and features a ring holder in the top tray.

There is also a small space below the bottom tray where other mementos can be stored.

It has brass brass stop hinges that support the open lid at a 100% angle, and is finished with a small brass knob to open the lid.

It is lined with black felt and measures 290mm across the front, 200mm along the sides, and is 155mm high.

The stripes in the lid are Kahikatea, the central lid panel is Totara, and the rest of the box is Rimu.

This will make a great Christmas gift.
