Schedule Coordinator

We have a fundamental belief in the importance of the Schedule Coordinator position to support the effective delivery of a safe, high quality service.
The role:
Reporting to the Service Manager Workforce, the primary role of a Schedule Coordinator is to carry out a variety of scheduling activities to support Regional, Area and Frontline Managers ensure the efficient and effective delivery of services to people with an intellectual disability.
Position Purpose:
  • Providing a range of scheduling activities associated with the provision of efficient and effective services to all Service Users and their families.
  • Establishing positive and effective working relationships with all managers in IDEA Services and IDEA Specialist Services and being seen as a key partner in the delivery of efficient and effective services to all Service Users and their families.
  • Provide data, reports and other information which can be used by Managers to make informed decisions about workforce management and planning.
IDEA Services operates 7 days a week so some shift work is required including some weekends.
  • Dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers
  • Able to build and maintain effective relationships with customers and quickly gain their trust and respect
  • Excellent communication, administration and organisation skills
  • A good problem solver who can cope with change and ambiguity
  • Proven computer literacy and experience in using Microsoft Office products (particularly Word and Excel)
