This is a smaller CA firm, staff size 8 based in a handy location with good access to motorways and with car parking. The Director is younger, motivated, easy going and technology driven. The culture is family like, social and there is genuinely is a good office vibe about the office. With some changes internally and a constant increase in work flow, he is looking to rebalance resources and is now in need of a strong intermediate level accountant or even a senior that is competent in being able to generate sets of accounts and deliver good work with minimal review queries.

As a business all work is done on Xero, from client accounting, internal accounts and document management.

The role is largely:

  • Preparation of accounts
  • Client servicing
  • Preparation of tax returns, including GST and income tax
  • Cash flows, budgeting and systems based work

In order to be successful in this role you must have:

  • At least 4 - 5 years of work experience within a BAS role
  • Excellent communication as you will be facing clients
  • Well organized and able to communicate well progress of jobs
  • Experienced using Xero
  • Either degree qualified or qualified by experience, maturity and commonsense are welcomes qualities.

Salary: $65K - $80K + car parking
